Apex Packs [Edit - Admin.]
Yes Apex Legends is a free game and I am all for spending some money on a game I enjoy to get some cosmetics. After hitting level 55 which made me realise I will no longer be getting packs from leveling or get them super rare I decided to purchase 43 packs. On those 43 packs I only got 1 legendary and 2 epics with the legendary being the 30box pity legendary. I didn't get a single epic for 30+ boxes.
They claim you have a 25% chance of getting an epic and 7% chance to get a legendary so I was pretty surprised but continue playing. Today I got another 5 packs from Twitch prime and still no epic or legendary and if my calculations are correct my next lootbox will be guaranteed legendary, making this 2 pity timers in a row.
I also got almost no crafting materials. I never spent it and so far have around 700 after playing the game so long and spending £32 pounds on it. That's almost half of what you need for 1 legendary of your choice. I play bangalore and don't have a single epic/leg item of any kind for her with no way of getting one unless I pay hundreds of pounds to them.
I unfortunately didn't record my whole box opening but I recorded my second 2100 purchase since the first one was unbelievably bad. I made the calculations and if I am correct the chances of not getting an epic in 21 boxes is 1 in 50000 if they are telling the truth that the chance is 25%. But 21 boxes are the only ones I have proof. I am telling you I open far more than that to see a single purple or legendary.

The game gives you almost no packs after level 50 and unless you spend hundreds on it you won't be able to to get a single thing you like. They could at least make a premium choice that you pay like 40-50 pounds and you have no level cap and get a box every level. That will be more humane than what they are doing now, especially when 90% of your available items are trash recolors and just a paintjob over the normal skin.
