@DarthValtrex ‘many’ might be a stretch, unless you’re speaking quantitatively in numbers over the whole world.

I think with this change, at most the numbers will shift is 2% more in diamond... cause more will try going for it but we know that most that are stuck in plat now will be stuck in plat next season.

@Koochi-Q I have probably a half dozen friends who lost interest in ranked when they got rid of the Diamond dive trails.

I know quite a few who give up on ranked once they reach platinum. They know they can't make it to Master and don't really see the point to grinding for Diamond..

@Koochi-Q Having 2% more ranked players in diamond would be huge tho. It would essentially double the amount in it now.

Honestly, I think Apex should put even more energy into rewarding players for various achievements. As it pertains to overall investment in the game, I think they should increase the level cap for people and afford them better rewards for maxing out.

As for Ranked and rewarding skill, players should be rewarded with cool content every rank they progress to. Give players more incentive to push to the next rank. Competence should be rewarded at all skill levels, with the more competent players receiving the most rewards— rewards should scale.
