Heavy weapons in the past only slowed you down a lot, and I personally saw it this way too by experience, that getting hit with an R99, R301, vs a Flatline was clearly not the same, as well as when you also shoot someone with these 3 guns, how you can visibly see the difference.
I'm also talking about slowing down Half Speed, and sometimes barely moving.
I'm not talking about how it's always been, something has clearly changed in Season 12, or I am running into some sort of bug.

I dont know, I feel the same as before.. Just remember if you used to play caustic or gibby (fortified legend) and switched to something else that will be a varying experience, especially since they dont slow down when getting hit.
I think the rubberbanding youre experience might be a server issue not so much networking, this far I had stellar network connection to the Apex infrastructure but some games I get rubberbanding, in general it does not give you skill lag or bullet lag only movement lag.

@xpl0itsI feel the same sometimes when the connection is weird. And as cheese said, all bullets slow you the same. Heavy have never slowed you more.

My experience is similar.
When I shoot someone (Flatline, 301) I can put a half of clip into running enemy and they wont' slow down a bit. like not at all.
I have been in numerous fights where I shot someone with Flatline and they just jump all over and slide-jump immediately without losing any momentum.
No shooting seems to slow down some players.
When I am being hit by a Flatline it is like almost instant decrease in momentum.
So the main question here is how the same game can feel/behave differently for different players?

When I'm using any (non-fortified) Legend and take damage, I lose a lot of movement speed. On the flip side, I've never seen anyone noticeably slow down when I am damaging them. I would hope that they are being slowed down too, but it just doesn't appear that way, visually. I have no idea how it looks to my enemies, when I am slowed down though, so it might just be a visual thing? I've just always wondered, because I slow down a lot, but the slowdown isn't really noticeable when I'm the attacker.
Personally, it isn't enough for me to really care about. However, I do kind of wish they would just remove the slowdown, and add some form of concussion grenade to slow down/disorient humanoid Legends, and have arc stars offer the same slowdown effect on the machine/simulacrum Legends, or whatever their technically called. I'm sure it will never change, which I'm cool with. That's just my 2 cents on it- 4 years ago
Shoot someone with a Flatline next time, only 10 meters in front of you, you should see them slow down.
