I enjoy Apex more than Fortnite.  Fortnite doesn't do anything for me.

On an interesting note!

I've been doing some research and there are some questionable situations that have been brought up.
There has been some leakage that Fortnite, and other games, could be purchasing Hack Developers to hack other games.
This has not been solidified yet.  You will have to literally catch Fortnite paying the Hack Developers in order to tie them together.
Some people might question this forum entry but look how businesses overcome their competitors.
Companies will go at any length to beat their competitors.
This is all hearsay and is not solid information yet.  I recommend that all companies be monitored for this type of activity.

You're mostly preaching to the converted. Most people here are playing Apex Legends. Even the complainers. I've seen one guy talk about how crap this game is and stating how they hoped the game will die soon, only to be streaming it again later that very same day. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

While I do agree in preferring this over Fortnite (by a massive margin in fact), this game will not crush Fortnite unless they get a lot of new stuff in quickly. What they have is fantastic but quality is not masking the lack of quantity. I happily bought this first battle pass as a thank you for giving us such a good game, but they are going to have to do a bit better than the 'new gun, new legend, new skins' format they've been following ever since if they want me to buy a S2 pass.

I try to be honest with myself when it comes to reasons for playing. Long before Counter-Strike had weapon skins it was something I could still enjoy for days unconditionally. I stayed because the core modes were fair and well-rounded like an actual sport, and because modders would offer so much variety on community servers. BR games are inherently unfair (which is easier to enjoy when I just accept it) and we have very limited power to mix it up. For me it needs more stuff. Gameplay stuff. I don't want to play for the sake of maximising my rewards even if I had enough time in the week.
