I think EA and Respawn have now abandoned this game..

Hello. I am a Korean user, so please understand if there are some awkward parts in grammar by translating from Korean to English.

Since The Finals was released to the world, a lot of people who are tired of Apex Legends have been having fun playing The Finals and quitting Apex Legends, but EA and Respawn don't seem to have any alarm about it. After The Finals was released, a lot of people, including me, expected this and continued to advise EA and Respawn, but EA and Respawn are just watching the game go bust.

Of course, there was some news, like the release of a collaboration with FINAL FANTASY 7, but... I'm not very happy about it, to be honest... because EA and Respawn are just sitting on the sidelines on a number of issues that actually exist in the game. What's the point of collaboration with other games when so many people are leaving?

Nevertheless, I haven't given up on this game yet, and I sent my opinion to EA Korea by email for better service in Korea, but EA Korea didn't even read the mail.

And it's really sad that EA and Respawn aren't doing anything to deal with and fix the problem, even though so many users have actually quit this game...

  • I personally don't think the release of The Finals should ring any alarm bells.

Sure, it's possible playcount might dip at the start, as there is some hype for the game.

But this won't last forever, every game is unique in their own way and players that care about the specific uniqueness could return to Apex.

And well, players typically don't play one game at the time.

There are players that just straight up play only one game in a week, but usually a lot of players are interested in many different games, so they rather switch between these games during the week.

But let's hypothetically say The Finals is doing so well that Apex is losing a lot of players, what's the best thing EA/Respawn could do?

It might be worth to dive into what you would like to see happen with Apex, what would make it more fun to play for you?

@XHelperZ Thank you for responding to my writing.

Of course, as you said, many people enjoy multiple games, not just one. And some of the users of Apex Legends will also be enjoying The Finals together.

However, I've actually seen a lot of users quit Apex Legends and are having fun playing The Finals because they're stressed out about Apex Legends.

Apex Legends and The Finals are experiencing the same cheater issues. However, several issues, such as server issues such as high ping and packet loss that occur in Apex Legends, are not seen as much in The Finals.

In fact, one of the biggest problems that bother Korean users who play Apex Legends is the high ping and packet loss problem, and many Korean users who were stressed by it are said to have quit Apex Legends after starting The Finals.

I would like EA and Respawn to work harder to solve the various problems that exist in this game and to adjust the balance within the game.
