It amazes me how you still destroy the game with almost every new patch
3 years since the game got released, and still it feels like patches are not tested at all. GG Respawn.

Glad everyone is experiencing what I’ve said about this game a month ago when I ranted about how unpolished this game is. Great game but a huge collection of minor bugs resulting into one big mess. Maybe the timing of that post is off since the game was working fine that week. LOL.
I’m not really concerned about the servers because I know it’s getting fixed but now I’m concerned with the voluntary decisions they’re making with features.
PS You can’t do the 3rd person mode anymore in the firing range.
@Cro_PitttI actually want this game to fall, make Respawn have something else as their cash cow. I'm sick of this being the only shooter people get into as I don't like BR shooters, but all other shooter games are made by worse companies than Respawn. No one complains about Respawn except about Apex.
On the other hand, people rightly complain about EA, ActiBlizz, Ubisoft, Rockstar, Epic and plenty more companies accused of excessive crunch, abuse and other heinous and predatory practices and schemes.

I admire your social conscience, but at this point I'd buy a game from the devil himself if it was something I wanted to play and that could launch complete and fully functional. Oh recon, you dreamer.... - @Kyldenar I like Titanfall multiplayer and kinda wish Titanfall was allowed to live so Halo and CoD would have serious competition and weren't left to be the zombie franchises they are now. However, I feel like that because diverse representation in Titanfall is so subtle compared to Apex, I am worried it may attract a specific kind of crowd who hate Apex for entirely the wrong reasons.
- @reconzero I slightly worry that by paying for other games Apex are directly competing against, I make Respawn consider enforcing crunch and other sorts of heinous crap just for them to get on top, and ruining their so far clean reputation.
I am looking to consider making something myself if I had the motivation to. I can't compete against Apex, nor can I make anything of its quality and substance, but I do want to try and make a statement against its BR-only focus that isn't text walls, for a company who are both successful and have had so far an excellent reputation. Apex Legends had a great release. There was hardly any marketing around it but it exploded from day 1 as very popular due to it's ping system to overcome language barriers.
What also made it great was that Respawn was left alone on it's development without EA's involvement.

Not just this industry. Every industry has crunch but if you look at articles from US "Great resignation" or articles from China "Lying flat". These are terms related to movement where people have started to realise and dare to quit before lining up another job, freedom to leisurely attend interviews/contract work/take a break.
Now there is opposite problem. Some companies can't find workers, who would of thought.
Any workers at EA who are unhappy - Eventually they will simply quit and move on. They won't stay. Same as any other industry. The biggest mistake is staying in a job you hate just because it pays well, like using money to compensate for unhappiness. Better to earn less to do something you do enjoy as long as it pays the bills. Can't be happy without any sort of money.
@PeterN_UK Saying “hardly any marketing” is sort of marketing in itself. In fact they did spend on marketing but not through your usual means like a trailer. They spent big money by paying a lot of well known streamers to play the game during the release window.
They do this in a smaller scale every season and the last time they spent a lot for streamers to play was the launch of Arenas. As the guy who follows apex news a lot, I can list you a lot of issues that are not because of EA but because of Respawn’s own decision making in the game.
- @Cro_Pittt Even then no one really complains about Respawn unless it's about Apex. Respawn haven't got much else wrong with them unlike ActiBlizz and Ubisoft.
