K/D is a value that does not lie about the abilities of a player.Playing constantly good will raise K/D and the other way round.Best thing is, you can't manipulate K/D since playing "worse" is almost impossible.You would need to play countless booring matches and loose a lot...Please give it a try EA, the changes to SBMM in the last 2-3 seasons really made everything worse.I am willing to accept much longer waiting times if that is nescessary!Right now waiting times are less than 10 seconds, for a fair match I would wait up to 60 seconds.And maybe you can also add some seconds to make sure all squads are filled up?Thanks

@J0604211259 Players manipulate their KD every match. You've seen the people who get knocked but leave before being put in a box? Why do you think they do that?Also I believe KD has some effect on sbmm. It shouldn't have all of it tho. It is a BR and winning matters.

I've gotten kills and deaths I definitely did not deserve. When a teammate pumps 190 damage into an enemy and I pump in the last 10, That's not a kill I should be getting. Also, due to RNG, on drop I get nothing, but an enemy gets a Spitfire with an Epic mag, that's not really a "fair" or "deserved" death in my opinion.Those situations have much more to do with luck (or lack thereof) than skill, in my opinion.That being said, I do understand the logic of your overall point and it's probably a better metric of measurement than whatever the hell they're currently using.

@J0604211259 There was this Battlefield player with a kd of 100. How is this possible? Well if you go 3-nil you get a KD of 3, next game you go 2-nil and you have a KD of 5, carry on doing this and you get a KD 100, if you don't die, or you die once.Looking at his other stats he only used fighter pilot or sniper, massively weighted towards the fighter pilot. His kills per minute was 0.15, this means that in 10 minutes of play he killed on average 1.5 players, in an average 20 minute game he killed 3 players, about 80% of them from the fastest planes in the game which was the easiest way to evade damage, when hit you can fly out of range then repair all the damage.The average KPM in this game is about 1, mine was 1.5. Would you want this dude on your team?Granted this would be impossible in a BR game but it's interesting how bad players can manipulate stats.

@J0604211259 Whilst the object of the game is lost on you and many others i actually agree, that way i might get ranked matched with players that actually want to win, instead of the usual throwing themselves at every squad until they die.And KD is by far the worst metric to assess anyones ability, if your prioritising KD then you are invariably a player with zero squad skills that gets a few kills, dies charging into a full squad and quits before the bannor is even timed out.Why play a BR game where winning is what counts if all you care about is KD? Surely your better off on val or some other rinse die repeat.

@JonStriker126 "Playing constantly good will raise K/D and the other way round" this is not true, my k/d is go very very down after season 9 because is many problem on hits reg....start my season with 2 now is 0,80 becasue matchmaking put me many rounds alone...

@J0604211259 Wrong, KD can be manipulated and tbh your obssesion with it shows you are missing the point, i would rather sbmm be only on win rate. I know several players with excellent KD and abysmal win rate, they think hot dropping fragment and getting 5 kills but finishing 8th is a GG.

As a casual beginner, I find it relative easy strategy to avoid engagement and start fighting on later stage. Usually finish high on placement because a lot of players seems to wiped out within first minutes. I thought being a champion is what's goal of the game.

@J0604211259 You 100% can manipulate k/d. It has been done for many seasons now. I won't explain how but I will say there is a way to inflate numbers extremely high.

@J0604211259 Kijanna debunked this. He made another account & got his KD down to .16 or something else that just so he could see how they play in those lobbies lol.

I am talking about the time after the teams banner screen, but before diving. If it gives you credit for any time survived I'm pretty sure it does count as a death. I'm still willing to continue as a duo in trios because I think it can be fun, but I can't see if the other person has chosen to leave until we are in the dropship.
