@pandareno1999 The leak is if you have purple helmet and shield and full health if headshot you won't get downed.
@hayhor Really? Without also looking up the supposed helmet change, I see an adjusted Krab headshot doing 280 dmg. Helmet change enough to bring that down below 200?
- @pandareno1999 The leaks are showing the headshot multiplier being greatly reduced on the kraber. With other headshot lowering on the lstar and a couple other guns.
Krab dmg reduced to 140, HS multiplier nerfed to 2X. That adds up to 280 dmg before helmet is considered. I'm not arguing with you, to be clear, just trying to get things straight.
WAAAAA, the Kraber does lots of damage! How dare someone use skill to hit me! WAAAAAH!
- @pandareno1999 Hmmmm I saw the 140 but the person had a headshot calculated with purple helm at 189. A purple or gold helmet reduces headshot damage by 50% so it might mean a red shield is needed.

- @hayhor Calculating HS dmg is too complicated, lol. I'll just wait until someone lays out the math or I can test it myself in the range.
I've got the numbers now. Kraber headshot damage will be as follows:
without helmet: 280
white helmet: 252 blue: 210 purple/gold: 189
I had forgotten just how much damage a good helmet mitigates.

With the new helmet changes, someone computed those values to all the weapons. Note that the buffs/nerfs for the weapons are not yet taken into account (except the kraber) in this calculation. It’s just the season 12 gun damage stats against the new helmet stats.
Also fortified legends will not have damage reduction anymore in headshots.

Guess they gave up on laser sight idea and listened to the people who wined about damage.
Since this thread seems to be handing all things S13 weapon patch related: The leaker has shown us that Fortified will no longer apply to head shots. This could have a big effect on comp play, with Gibralter being picked at the rate he is.
@pandareno1999I don't see a change. He is picked for the bubble and ult. They only removed the fortified due to the overall helmet buff.
