@CaptWrekAlyfein regards to the firing range I totally agree that it's not the same as a live match in the arena, not even close.
regarding the predator thing, I've talked about it in great details but unfortunately, I couldn't find the thread for some reason, but I recall that I called it ( predators special perk ) and the loot thing is one of them, i even throw a joke that i would pay money to get these special perks ( wasn't ) lol but what is happening in this game is really mesmerizing and the problem is that one you get hooked then you are done for it and will never be able to walk away.
I said once that there is no way I let my son play or even try to play this game because I don't want him to suffer the way am suffering now.
of course, no one will admit that there is something abnormal in this game, doesn't matter if it's an issue with net code, connection, design, or whatever and only the ones who have attention to details and try to learn from their experience will be able to see what is happening here, seriously it feels like a mind game or an experiment that is being conducted and earns some money in the process 🙂
@maximas1986I think most preds/streamers are cheating in some form or another. Modified clients, no recoil mods, wall hacks, strike packs, logitech g hub, you name it. I also think Respawn is aware of this and actually approves because they bring players to the game, maybe they're the ones giving the cheats, who knows. I don't usually say this on the forums so i don't get roasted with "git gud" comments but I told this to you because i want you to know that other people feel the same even though they might not be posting it.
Streamers and "content providers" are the most effective free advertising a dev can hope for, of course they are cosseted.
Do these people cheat, some of them for sure. Just look at the human condition, a permanent state of self obsession coupled with acute inferiority, we cheat, its in our grubby little nature. Global sports are rife with cheating and esports are no different, the elite are MORE likely to cheat not less.
I get annoyed with people that say "why would they cheat? They have so much to lose", i dont know dude, why dont you go ask Lance Armstrong the SAME question cos the simple fact is that the better you are at something the more pressure there is for you to stay at that peak, to keep winning.
I wouldnt say the dev of any game actually approves of this but im pretty damn sure they turn a blind eye because ultimately the bottom line is money, not player satisfaction.
Im pretty sure cheating is worse than some people with their head in the clouds would claim BUT less than the tin foil hat brigade would have you believe.
This is the opinion of reasoned judgement coupled with simple facts of human nature before anyone accuses me of sitting in either camp.
