I'm getting pretty tired of playing as a duo in trios after a minute or so's play because the other squaddie quits when downed. If you quit once you're eliminated then i don't have so much of a problem with that, but if you quit when knocked you're obviously just keeping your KDr up, and you're going to do it to squad after squad after squad. So, I have a proposed solution ...If you quit when knocked you are banned from starting another game until the squad you deserted has been eliminated.Thoughts, anyone?

@EdwardDLuffy Quitting at all should count as a death. This would stop the quitting to keep the KD up.But as @KelRiever has said many times they need to do more to reward not quitting. Stop giving people objectives and levels when they quit matches. Only give stuff when the game ends naturally.The other option is to play with people you meet which I understand isnt always easy.

If they don't want this another alternative is introducing a "quitters queue" where they'll be teamed up with other quitters and they'll have to play a set amount of games where they don't quit in order to get out of said queue. This way everyone wins. Players who like to play the game out will get teammates that finishes the game too(most of the time) and the quitters will get to play how they want.

@hayhor and @EdwardDLuffy I really think it's hard to introduce a real penalty system. Yes, like hayhor says though, I do believe you shouldn't get rewards for games you quit early. And making you not get registered stats would also be a good idea, like if you quit early, your damage, kills, etc don't get recorded. Not even a penalty but just keep those rewards away that skew things. If you want thing to count, you should have to stick around until you are grayed out, or 2:30 passes after you are picked up (and that needs some sort of alert too, like a 'you can leave now if you want' sort of thing)

@hayhor Agreed and improving the respawn system so it's more survivable would help as well.

@Cheese9Man It seems to have died out now thank god, but there was a time where players would Banner ping spam until you grabbed their banner, often leaving you in a compromising position..and then they'd leave.That was some infuriating stuff, I'd rather people just rage than pull stunts like that frankly.

But as @KelRiever has said many times they need to do more to reward not quitting. Stop giving people objectives and levels when they quit matches. Only give stuff when the game ends naturally.

The other option is to play with people you meet which I understand isnt always easy.

@hayhor I've never bothered that much with stats and it was only last season I found out that quitting did not count as a death (as I barely ever quit - only on drop if we're a squaddie short or my TMs do something toxic).

@EdwardDLuffy I'm not so sure that all quits get a ban. Happens a fair bit in ranked with squad banner waiting to be picked up. Think some have figured out a workaround.
Same with loss forgivness to squad on a quitter, downed or banner, dosn't always work.
Conversely, I was in a solo squad gold ranked match, had just found yet another a gold sentinil and was again looking forward to using it. A few squads had passed, when all of a sudden there was a short power cut. **** **! Restarted the xbox in a mad panic as the storm was on it way. Took a minute or so but I was able to rejoin match, just after I had been killed to storm. I had place 7th so thought I had only lost 4 points, but as solo squad I got loss forgivness 😃

@Daze623 good idea. I never quit, but I have had Internet drops and power cuts, so how would that genuine reason be seperated from the quitters? Maby do it 3 or 2 times in a day and off you go to quitter hq for a week 😃

I’ve noticed that there is an increasing number of instances that my randoms quit. It’s frustrating especially when you’re about to get their banner then they would quit.
