- @Eshshshss I got an email back when I did it. That is all you can do.

@hayhorlet me guess - generic / template one e.g. "thank you hayhor for sending this case in, we will review it and get back to you if further assistance will be needed. Merry Christmas!" :P
I just don't get it, how such a big company can't (maybe they can just don't want to) create a user-friendly, transparent process with a monitoring option. Ok robotize it, I have no problem with that, ok have a 6 month time to action etc.
No... now people have contradicting info - the latest one I was informed that there is a discord group where you can report hackers - tedious progress which in the end do not yield results (or close to none). Example, just had the first game in Diamond lobbies a few days ago and was killed by a person who for ~2 min was not able to determine where I am shooting him from and then just landed a magically accurate Kraber shot.At that point, there were 3 teams - mine, his, and one more. Mine was shortly eliminated, yet I was forced to spec the other team. Coincidence or well-known "hack" where players confuse the game and make it force people to spec random team instead of the one who killed the person.
Guess what - a person who killed me (saw from kill feed) I have previously played with, spected, concluded and recorded that he has no-recoil and potentially wallhack, reported in-game and via easy cheat website, and here he is in the lobby higher ranked than me.... hurray!
And you can only guess either you are stupid and seeing things (and even then you don't get a confirmation for it) or game admins are just overloaded / not doing their job even when you follow all the steps, instructions. - @Eshshshss I'm not sure the whole thing is as trivial as you make it sound. I am quite sure based on this forum that the amount of false accusations far outweigh the real ones. This in itself creates quite the backlog of slop to go through.
- Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor exactly - we can only guess, because there is no info besides forum posts like mine or people complaining about "false" bans.
As said before Respawn could give at least some clue on what is going on e.g. monly stats on who was banned (with names) and for what reason - quite sure that it would be as easy as posting some sort of internal logs. Or just tell people "hey ok we f up, we can't process all the reports in timely manner, going to improve, current lead time 6, 12, 100 months"...
And as suggested earlier a model similar to Quake - where trusted players are given admin rights/ability to execute kick or ban command - could have been tested, that would enable the community to clean itself, delegate part of the workload, potentially make hackers think twice before doing so etc. - @Eshshshss Based on how petty the community is and their inability to know who is really cheating there is no way I want the community to be able to ban each other.
I'm all for more transparency tho. - Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@hayhormy point about community admins - sure they would not be allowed to ban 50/50 cases, that would go the full circle/process.
What would be in my opinion valuable is to have people on a server that could ban (instantly) people with auto aim like we see on quite a regular basis or obvious game exploits e.g. forcing game not to allow to spectate them and other very obvious things that are bannable.
Because currently, all those have to be reported, reviewed, say some sort of the committee has to review videos, etc... very time-consuming if we talk about obvious hacks where 100% of a time 100% of players agree that it is a hack or game exploit.p.s. and of course these admins would be working like referees - presenting their views when needed, someone will review their work and how many cases were incorrectly banned, not banned where it should be etc.
