Okay so I just played 2 matches cause I actually wanted to find out if the Daily pack reset is still 5am CET (it is... so we basically have 3 content times... 5am CET for daily packs, 11am for new dailies and 5pm for something else, but anyway), random team as usual... nobody hotdropped with us at hydroponics. So thats a great start. We loot to our hearts content and I’m not kidding the times we said ‘X here’ must’ve been over 20 times in hydroponics alone XD. We pinged so much for each other. Usually thats an indicator for me that we will die soon cause the ones good at being altruistic are usually the bad shooters from my experience.

Right at the end of hydroponics after we had looted everything, I find charge rifle... I still had that weekly of 500 dmg with that thing (of which I had done the half) and I never find it so I picked it up and played with it. Found a Ranger Sight as well. So we’re in turbine and teammate Bang goes down instantly by a wingman from quite a distance away... Gibby picks her up. I sneakily move towards the left of enemies but don’t see them yet as they’re in the central thingy which is elevated. I finally see them and start charge rifling... they see me so I move cause I knew what that caustic was planning and went up thanks to Newty and came behind him and ‘R99 goes prrrr’ an enemy. Other one comes and I do the same. I know they’re going for revive and drop down and do it again...

Not even 20 secs later another team comes and shoot charge rifle first again and then R99 xD So at this point these teammates follow my every footstep as I’ve taken out 5 enemies basically without much help from them in the dmg department but they were good distractions.

While running towards the exit I hear gunshots and stand by the blast doors and do the ‘I’m defending here’ and they do the same. I see one team 150-200m away and mark them. Bangalore immediately pulls out her ult to which I say “no no, please dont throw it now”.

Last 2 teams besides us right outside Turbine near Rift Dome Thingy. They’re at first having a sniper/long range single fire AR battle... I tell my teammates the plan (usually in last 3/4 I unmute mic if I have a plan). I say “dont know if you can hear me or not (I usually start with that) but what I’m gonna do is throw my ult when I see many down so you guys can throw your ults as well (I speak from own perspective as I don’t want to command what they have to do).

So I see 2 ppl down, one gets killed, another down at which point I start running. Halfway through the blast doors and the enemy they killed the final guy but by then I’m 70m away or something holding my ult and throwing it beautifully near a downed wraith while the lifeline was running towards her xD. Instead of still rezzing she sees my teammates and starts shooting so I Charge rifle her but the damage is quite insane (92 if I saw it right)... and shoot again but hear shield... (owww wait purple shield has 100 of course... totally forgot that it wasnt 175...)... break... shoot 2 times more and switch to R99, all the while she still trying to hit me with wingman... almost knock her with R99, Gibby throws dome shield xD. Why do they always do this xD. Luckily she was at less than 20 health so I knock her, but what I hadn’t fully realized atm was that he had thrown his ult so after that knock I get in it and reload and his ult wreaks havoc and we win.

Summary screen displays what I already thought, not the best damagers (at least 100 dmg from the gibby came from that ult as he knocked a gold knockdown shielder) but altruistic and listening to my every word ;D.

So funny how this time I was even less motivated going for a win than usual but still got it in the most unusual way... with a charge rifle... Well if I had any other of my normal guns like the Flatline, the same outcome would be achieved I believe but still weird...

Short and sweet stories:
1. My team was doing really well, up until the last squad. We had fought off multiple squads and gotten a lot of kills, and had just barely survived another third party attempt. As we out-run the ring, the final squad pulls up and starts wailing on us. Our spot in the zone was a tiny little area with minimal cover, so I do what anyone with more than 2 braincells does, and start scrambling for a better position. I do this by hopping in a nearby Trident, and spamming the "Get in losers" key while taking fire and PURPOSELY blocking my teammates line of sight to the enemy. They refuse to get in. I speed off on my own because I'm low health, get to a much better position, my teammates get pushed and die after getting their shields cracked due to lack of cover. I chastise them, and quit the match.
2. I join lobby, I hear someone feebly whimper into the mic, "If you get shot don't leave immediately please. I've gotten to 2nd place like 8 times." Okay, fair. A fight breaks out, I down all 3 targets and secure one kill with 50 damage after said teammate hits them. 2 of the targets was just me and my third fighting, while microphone man is LOOTING. I chastise them for it, and they break out into a rage immediately cursing and screaming about how "WELL, I HIT THAT LIFELINE FOR 90 DAMAGE YOU MOTHER F___ER", and honestly I immediately muted them once I heard their tone get aggressive. Guy was level 500 complaining about leavers, and I know for a fact that's the kind of person who doesn't want solos because they want all the wins without doing ANY of the work, because they immediately as Horizon after raging about how I stole a kill used their tactical to hop over a wall and fall to their death, then immediately left. A whiny little man baby is what that guy was, and genuinely the best laugh of my S7 experience easily.
2.a. They're level 500, complaining about leavers. But they purposely left their teammates to fight so they could loot a kill that was "stolen" despite both people shot the same target at the same time. Upon being criticized for it (with my exact words being, "'don't leave when shot, is looting while teammates are fighting'"), breaks out into a rage, purposely kills themselves, and quits. The biggest reason people want solos is to escape people like this dude, and this dude has so little self-awareness they just don't understand that they're the crappy teammate that people will genuinely leave early because of. I couldn't shoot straight for a minute cause I was giggling, like that kind of behavior is embarrassing, it's like, not even a surprise they're complaining about leavers.

I was with ferrari and a rando today who started the match pretending to be a girl but was clearly a teenage boy as he coughed between saying things. During our initial looting it was calm but he kept making wattson triangle fences around me and talking like a deranged girl. Ferrari muted him and we went and started fighting. The boy could fight quite well, we ended up winning and I stole enough kills to be kill leader with 8. I saved it to my uploads.

Very short and sweet.
Once upon a time today, Oldtreecreeper and a random path squaddie won a Apex Legends match on their own, and lived happily ever after for the rest of the evening.

Very short and not so sweet.
Once upon a time today, Oldtreecreeper and 2 random squaddies got killed in an Apex Legends match, as one of the squaddies (who proudly portrayed 3 season banners of 0 wins) kept punching his squaddies at inappropriate times (such as during a melee or collecting loot). Oldtreecreeper did not live happily ever after for the rest of the evening.

@pastaclown I almost had an exact same situation, except we weren't top 2, but top 3 or 4. They didn't want to get in so I drove away, healed up and those 2 got railroaded by 2 teams... I of course unmuted mic and gave them some stern wordings... and left. Can't be bothered to play and in the slight chance secure a win for such individuals.

Lolz that's a weird situation XD. Usually the ones who say "don't leave" in my experience are the ones who wanna secure a win badly and are altruistic :O

Now, my second match went like this:

We land at Docks. One team besides us. I gear up like you should do, find bare minimum weapons to fight with in 1 building so have to open bins and find not much better until I go to other building and find some stuff... At that moment the enemy engages us, but teammate Octane downs one. I come to help but hear one trying to flank so I try to flank that person. While doing so, the third shoots me so I have to hide for a second at which point Octane goes down. I down one but can't get to the last one cause I have to heal. Teammate 2 (Horizon) goes down as well... But I see the last person and do lil bit of damage and kill her.

So I revive and all that good stuff. So we head for circle. We go inside turbine... once again... and wouldn't you know it, Octane way in front for some reason. By the time me and Horizon basically enter Turbine, he's halfway across shooting at enemies. He didn't down an enemy but mortally wounded him. By the time Horizon gets to him (as I keep my distance as I don't know where the enemies are exactly, how many or if there are other squads nearby) he is thirsted. The Horizon kills one instantly, so I figure that that's the last one...

Boy was I wrong, when I get closer I hear another team nearby on the outside of turbine, but we have the banner so I go to the shipping containers section which has no name, but it's right next to that long shiplike thing that eventually leads to those hotdrop towers. There I respawn him with 4 full other squads besides us... I see a care package, go there (150m away from respawn and opposite side of his box) and ping it. This guy starts running towards his box where enemies are and where the storm will hit first. I unmute my mic and say "Don't go there, there's a care package here and enemies there". In the care package was purple armor and bag. Guy Octane's towards his box and gets taken out... I say "Should've listened you useless teammate".

I ping where I am for the Horizon... What does she do? Goes to the same place to retrieve this idiots box... Gets taken out as well by 3 guys. I sit in my chair baffled at the stupidity. I'm thinking, well both PSNers... maybe in a party. Nope, 10 secs after the Horizon goes down she leaves. Meanwhile Octane starts pinging his deathbox... I say "Do you really think I'm gonna get your box?" So I let his box run out while those 3 squads are still single firing ARs/sniping each other. After that he leaves.

I play it smart and watch the teams engaging. When I think it's my time to shine, I chuck my caustic gas but hit nobody... was a really bad throw, but I thought ppl were camping there. I only saw 1 name in kill feed. That person killed alot of ppl in the end.

So storm is coming, I'm inside, they are not. I chuck arc stars and nades. I struck one, took her out with my non-turbocharged havoc (of which I spend the whole freaking game searching and kept pinging it for my teammates). Next was bloodhound who came running, took him out as well... lastly came the person who I kept seeing in killfeed... I had to reload, cause I only had a hammerpointed p2020 as sidearm and didn't want to use it cause I knew that lifeline was gonna be red evo... well, she came right up when I was smackdab in the middle of reloading and struck me before the animation was done. But by that time I started panicking and missed all my shots cause I forgot that I had the havoc and not a weapon that shoots instantly and she took me out...

Upon seeing that I looked at the lvls of my teammates. Lvl 500 horizon & lvl 490 Octane. I wondered how they both could've been so stupid at that lvl but honestly I've seen it more times than I can count... People over lvl 200 (which isn't high) so lets say 300 who have done such stupid things that you just wondered how long it took for them to get to lvl 300...

If you're wondering why I didn't place gas traps... I didn't know where the third teammate would come from and I was really hoping that it'd just be those 2... XD. Also I didn't want to alert them that the last person alive was a caustic... if only had I not thrown my ult and I might've won...

Won a game like that yesterday when both teammates left and I got the win on my own by basically throwing gas at the last person, prior to shooting his just-revived-by-him teammate :P

Down to us v them near that big hole with a tight ring. One of my squad was eliminated and the other had just got knocked. With the ring closing in I had two choices: engage in the ring or run away. I chose the latter and took the grapple across the big hole. I turned, fully expecting the enemy squad to be grappling after me...
... we were the Champions! The ring had got them and we won by my cowardice!
Rev is having a fine time at the moment, lots of full squads wipes plus two Silence kills in two days 🙂

Just had a good one. Backstory is even short: 7 teams left... we hear 2 engaging in/right next to storm... we backstab them... I go down cause I wanted to use the darned hemlock... but I took one with me... there's only 1 guy left (IN THE BLOODY 3TH STORM). Teammate sets up sheila and kills that person while the guy I downed had gold knockdown so other teammate from a distance shoots him... This took 30 seconds for some strange reason. So I'm the caring person, I with my purp evo that's 157 points away from red mark a red one for my teammate seeing as she got me back up and killed the last team... okay...

Last 4 teams... 8 others... 11 total...
We put a position near dome as fighting's going on at the edge of it. I for insurance purposes put my flatline in single fire mode (for picking ppl off in distance)... Okay sheila sets up barricades (which is good) but also sets up a random sheila even tho the fighting's uphill and almost cant be shot from our position. But who knows, squads might go down.

I see lots of downs and so I start to run uphill, as I'm running and within 40m it's them vs us... teammates are still 100m behind...
I engage one from point blank range with R99 and his red evo is instantly 10 R99 bullets gone like PRRRR R99PRRRR XD But while this happened he shot me... my shield gone in 1 hit and I'm at 80 health so in my mind I'm like 'WTFZFZ DID JUST HIT ME?!!!!'

I switch to my flatline and figured 'Ha, you're dead', so I hold my RT to let bullets spray... 1 bullet... in 0.0001 sec I think 'FUZZZZ I HAD IT ON SINGLE' so I instantly start tapping at my RT button... this guy is at max 30hp when I go down... (with the running and this happening some 14 secs transpired). I call out to my 'teammates' that they should focus on octane who's low as a rear end of some females in clubs nowadays... I check the map... and my heart just drops... 1 is halfway between the house (5 secs away from me) and one is right by the house (8 secs away) on the damn sheila...

So while they are running the teammate of the one who downed me starts shooting at my KD shield... and the octane shields up. Right when Octane is shielded up, he uses a plateau to get a lil cover... my teammate 1 who's 30m away doesn't shoot the person trying to kill me until she's at 10m. By this point teammate 2 is right at the plateau and also shooting the same person trying to thirst me -.- Funny thing is... they both exhausted 1 clip... that is 2 clips of 45 bullets at least to down a person not even looking at them from 10 and 30m and they fail LOLZ. The person trying to thirst me turns around and runs away, the octane who downed me who's standing on the plateau kills my teammate 2 who was so focused on downing my thirster, while I'm even saying the octane is next to you. He gets downed. At this point teammate 1 downs my thirster by punching since she spend 2 clips trying to down my thirster from 10m XD and the octane kills her...

Had one of the most entertaining games ever yesterday. We spent the entire game travelling around in a Trident covered in Caustic traps. It was like taking a taxi to every loot point. When we found enemies we would explode in a cloud of gas and they would run for cover, allowing us to pick them off. Luckily I has a Devotion which seems incredibly easy to use this season, even without the fabled Turbocharger.
Towards the end Caustic set up a kind of underground base full of traps that we would pop back into whenever fighting got a bit too heavy.
It was practically the easiest win I've ever partaken in. We won without any of us taking any kind of major damage.
Worst game was with an Octane who fell off the map within 30 seconds of drop. I respawned him and he did exactly the same 30 seconds later (although I did do something similiar myself once, due to poor death totem placement).
I clipped the 'easy to use' Devotion. I am sure the recoil was a lot harder to deal with in previous seasons.

Just now did 2 matches for dailies & pack. First match slomo game... yet game performance display still somehow says that it’s 59fps on 30 ping. This made me really question the validity of that thing xD. It wasn’t just me, whole server as it started from picking legends and 1 teammate just left (cant blame him).

Second game. Beautiful game. KL with 7 kills from doing good stuff... Last 5 squads, 14 ppl. Circle ends on the Rift Dome thingy side of the mountain (forgot the name). My teammates? Randomly use the freshly landed replicator and get shot while I was still in that area between mountain and open area near Rift and already stated that I was defending there since it was where the ring would end and we were in cover... They came back after trying to have a shoutout with a team that had high ground...

2 more teams start shooting and what does 1 of my teammates do, start shooting in the middle... he does not get downed but comes close twice before he comes where I am. Suddenly 1 guy comes in and downs him (octane). I down that person and Loba for whatever reason does not revive Octane even tho I threw smoke... so I have to revive Octane. Suddenly other team comes and downs my Loba... I down the person who downs loba but get shot by that person’s teammate from the back... I smoke, run and heal. By this point 10 secs minimum have passed since I downed that guy, ran and healed up and around 20 since loba got downed and crawled to Octane who now did not revive her even with my smoke.

I run back and try to kill the guy who’s trying to rez his teammate but get downed... Octane STILL after a whopping minimum of 30 secs has not revived loba... I ping the dude... octane rushes in and cant finish this dude... goes down and we end up in 3rd place...
