I just started ranked games and i'm in bronze. Very often, especially late night, me and my squad encounter another squad that kills us in 4 seconds.
I notice that the players are insanely skilled, not just lucky shots from normal bronze players
It would make sense if there are smurfs in the game.
But i will leave the game if it continues, because it takes all the fun away for me and those that can't challenge a high rank player in a rank where he/she doesn't belong.
Ahhhh, the circle of apex how about a cup of tea with me and rampart to boost your moral.
Yea that explains it, and yes, that's not very smart.
Now, Overwatch have a massive problem with smurfs, playing on dual accounts to bully low rankers.
But i think that their system that decides your starting rank of every season, after playing 5 games.
@Nandor78 It's not necessarily smurf accounts. Most high rank players are still grinding towards diamond+ ranks. What you're probably bumping into are the people who rarely play ranked but are high skill players.
@ILostT0Loba The rank resets are done to keep people playing and give other people a shot at high ranks. If they never reset it the top players would have hundreds of thousands if not millions of RP stock piled and it would be impossible for other players to catch up or have a chance at the high ranks.
@ILostT0Loba I understand what you're saying. Honestly it's not that big of a deal, it only takes a few rounds for them to move up into the gold and platinum.
I did not play ranked for a few seasons and was demoted down to bronze, it took me a handful of matches to get the RP to move up into Silver.
I'm bronze, does this mean that I'm a ranked smurf? :D
I don't think I'd have a problem getting to plat / diamond, but ranked is boring, I lose interest after a short while. I only go there from time to time, when I want to "chill" 🙂
