Username Inappropriate?
My account was recently perma banned due to my username being "All I Can Do Is Poop". While I understand I had prior usernames that were bad, I can't seem to understand why this username is considered inappropriate and worthy of a ban in the first place. When reading the TOS it says that whatever EA deems inappropriate will be banned, but upon seeking clarification as to why the username was bad I was told in email that they would not explain why they thought this, just that it is bad. If they think "poop" is offensive that's fair play, but if this sort of grey area would lead to a perma ban of an account with several purchases and almost 1k hours on it I would've liked to have received an email saying that I would be banned if I didn't change it. What's more frustrating is that I had watched a video days later of the popular streamer "Leamonhead" killing streamers in game and he had changed his main account name to "PoopyButt63". This is not to justify my own actions, but upon seeing this and him not also receiving a ban or warning of sorts leads me as a viewer to believe that names like these are okay. I've reached out respectfully in email twice to EA, but both times have been denied and told they won't give me anymore information regarding it and the case was closed. What should I do?
You could try opening a new ticket unless they've specifically mentioned not to send any further tickets on the matter. (Or anything mentioning that they won't be changing their decision)
Their word is pretty much final, so if they decide to uphold the account action then there really isn't anything you can do to change it.
