This week though we're going to focus our attention on two of the deadliest legendary weapons in Kings Canyon, the Mastiff shotgun and Kraber sniper rifle! Both of these weapons are acquired from airdrop packages and heading into Season 2, the will be new loot tables for Airdrop packages for different phases of the game (early/ mid/ late). For example, players will find more Krabers in early and mid-game airdrops, while endgame airdrops should spawn more Mastiffs.How do you feel they stack up against other weapons in the ring? If the Mastiff or Kraber are available, which weapons would you rather keep over them and why?Have any amazing clips with these weapons? Show them off here!

Snipers still have the effective range of nerf guns.

Played alot with Mastiff in the beginning of the game. Made many team killing wins with it, but sometimes tho, the dmg output just straight up lies! Directly in front of an enemy. You shoot and only hit 16-60! Bogus!Kraber. Haven’t played much with it since I don’t like sniping. But few weeks ago I decided to pick it up and put pressure on a team nearing water treatment in one of the final storms... hit 3/4 shots and did massive dmg. I think 3 body shots and 1 headshot. The headshot was 200 dmg, the body were 95-150 somehow? But @Silz616 mentioned, it feels sluggish

Love em both. They both own. Sometimes you find one deep enough into the game that you decide to just ride it out with what you got. But I'll typically grab one otherwise. They're balanced well in that you definitely have to be wary of when the enemy has one. The damage potential is real.But it doesn't do all the work for the player either, just rewards the player well for hitting their shots. That's how it oughta beAnd nothing beats an early game kraber. Been loving the kraber more & more as I've been running longbow/triple take a lot. So it's an instant drop for the Kraber every time. Getting more used to the scope & bullet drop. It's just so useful to instantly remove someone from a fight, people either drop or run away to heal without fail. And sometimes you walk up as a 3rd party & get to really snipe away at people, ruining everyone's day lol, it's awesome

@DYSPROssium I hope they don't over-do it. I like the weapons being good, unique but not an absolutely uber win-button. Kraber at the minute is one of those things at the minute that can turn a bad fight around : but only if it's used to maximum effect, otherwise it's practically useless. This is the kind of mechanic in a game that is INCREDIBLY hard to create. Respawn have done an amazing job with it.

The Mastiff is hit or miss for me. When it's a good day, that thing rips people's heads off.
I don't use the Kraber because of the lack of ammo... but maybe it's because I'm not a great sniper lol. That's the reason I use the Triple Take - three chances to hit someone!! xD

Krabers damage is immense, but the range and ADS movement speed makes it pretty unusable imo. It just feels super slow and sluggish and the projectile travel time seems so slow. Having said that, I wouldn't want this weapon to be over the top easy to use as the damage output, especially for headshotting is massive, so it needs to be difficult to use.
The mastiff I like. When my aim is on point it's a beast. If I'm not feeling 100% and my aim's iffy, the mastiff is a nightmare for me to use lol.
On the whole, I tend not to use them. I prefer more consistant feeling weapons, but both the kraber and mastiff can be a game changer in the late game.

It is hard choice between Mastiff and Peacekeeper . Mastiff limits of ammo and its shell dispersion is too big , that mean it has to be use on right distance or you would hardly kill anyone . If there are 2 or more people storm your front , this gun can't turn the tide by just camping in a corner even though the gun can deal high damage .
If I want to use Kraber , the situation must allow me to camp somewhere and the combat distance must in my favor too , so I am not always meet the condition . One of my plan (in solo) is drop one of my gun on sniper spot then grab a Kraber and go back , so I can keep all these guns and swap them when I need .😉

I dunno why, but this is about the only game i excell i sniping... bf, cod you name it im not very good. In apex i love the triple take with choke, love love the longbow its awesome even up close! Kraber is the ultimate sniper weapon with ridiculous damage! Only thing i wish was different was the scope...
Mastiff is hit or miss, i still just prefer the eva 8 with purple bolt...

One thing I know about these two guns is that they have some awesome looking skins. 😎
I haven't got many kills with either of them because I usually enjoy the gear I've got already. I would say out of the two of them the Mastiff is less easy to get kills with. It's also a lot easier to practise with the Kraber in Training because you have targets that simulate players to some extent. Whereas unless you use the Mastiff a lot you'll struggle to get used to it as the Training doesn't have targets that behave in a similar way that players do in the type of situations when you would use the Mastiff. 🤔
But on the whole these guns are in about the right place as I think with practise you can probably get some deadly results. 🙂

Most times I decide to pick one of these up, the situations I get into makes them pretty useless. I pick up the Kraber, I get a bouquet of Peacekeepers shoved down my throat, and if I grab the Mastiff, everyone sits on top of mountains with Triple Takes and Longbows, raining hell upon my hapless head...

Kraber is OK, but mastiff is a piece of trash! you cant even compare it to mid tier peacekeeper, slow reload, questionable damage, definitely crap worth fixing!
