Account progress reset in Apex

Hi @EA_Mako    Before April 2nd,My account was reset to Level 1 in the account issue, I need help recovering mine progress of the game,My game platform is steam.

    Sorry to hear your progress seems to have been reset. Usually when this happens, it's due to unlinking a platform or linking one to a different EA account. I see you mentioned an issue on April 2nd, though if this was with regards to the issue back in 2024, we did push a later fix to affected accounts. 

    If accounts were unlinked since however, they could still lose progress due to that unlink.

    Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.

    We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if something was linked or unlinked incorrectly it may be worth contacting support to see if the original platform can be re-linked.

    Hey SpiralDream​,

    It looks like your Steam was unlinked from this account last year. If you're missing content, you could make sure the same account is re-linked and that you're using the original EA account.

    If that has already been re-linked without the progress returning, I'm afraid that would be lost and cannot be restored. We're not able to grant any progress manually I'm afraid, so it would be entirely up to whether that shows back up when the original accounts are re-linked.

    I didn’t unlink or relink any platform account to a different EA account by myself, and I haven’t changed any account bindings recently. My progress suddenly reset around April 2nd, and this seems to be related to the 2024 issue you mentioned.

    Since the progress is saved on my EA account and I didn’t perform any unlink operations, could you please help check why my progress was reset? I would appreciate it if you could restore my original game progress.

    I am an avid Apex Legends player, but the rollback incident has made it impossible for me to continue playing. I do not receive any currency when leveling up, so I cannot buy any new Legends or skins. I had no choice but to create a new account, yet most of my in-game assets are still on my old account. Is there really no way to fix this issue?
