Account Progress

Hello, I had old Apex Legends progress on my PlayStation account with many skins and purchases. After reinstalling Apex on PC, I was shown two account progression options during account merge/cross progression, and I accidentally selected the wrong one. Now my game loads the older account with less progress instead of my main PlayStation progress. My PSN and EA account are the same. Can you help restore the correct progression/account selection?

  • Hey ssspider413,

I'm not quite sure which options you were presented with there, as Cross Progression has been active on all accounts for years at this point. You would have had no reason at the time, but did you happen to get a screenshot of that screen, by chance?

Regardless of what option was selected there, your progress is stored based on your EA account, not individual platforms like PlayStation. If you had progress from playing on PlayStation previously, that would be on the EA account your PSN was connected to at the time.

In this case, it looks like the account you're posting with now has only launched Apex on PlayStation for the first time very recently. Since you've played before that, your PSN account would have been linked to another EA account at some point. You would need to re-link your PSN back to whichever EA account was used originally to try restoring access to that missing content.

If you're trying to access that same content on PC as well, you'd need to log into that older EA account on PC rather than this one. If you have content on two separate EA accounts however, there's unfortunately not a way to combine that progress. We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if something was linked or unlinked incorrectly it may be worth contacting support to see if the original platforms can be re-linked.

It was weird, when I launched Apex EA gave 2 options of games progress with different dates on each one, one was from my EA account witch would be PC and the other one was my ps4 account but it didn’t say witch one was it only said the dates

And when I play Apex on the ps4 it logs in into the PC account

Yes ssspider413, because your PSN account has been linked to this current EA account. So you'll just have access to the content that was unlocked on this EA account.

What you need is access to the content from when you played on PlayStation, which was while that PlayStation account was connected to a different EA account. That's why you're not seeing it, it is now connected to the wrong EA account. For that you need to re-link your PlayStation account to the earlier EA account instead.
