ANTI CHEAT ERROR UPON OPENING THE GAME

I am writing to report a persistent and extremely frustrating issue with Apex Legends that I have been unable to resolve despite extensive troubleshooting.

I have wanted to play Apex Legends on PC for a long time. Initially, I installed the game via Steam, but I encountered repeated Easy Anti-Cheat errors. Assuming it was a Steam-related issue, I completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it using the official EA App.

After installation through the EA App, the game launches and runs normally only the first time. However, after restarting my laptop or shutting it down for a few hours, the problem reappears consistently. Upon launching the game again, I experience continuous Easy Anti-Cheat errors, the lobby freezes, and the in-game wallet displays “-999” for all currencies. At this point, the game becomes completely unplayable. ( Error - The client is not running anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication. )

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps multiple times:

- Repairing Apex Legends through the EA App (successful repair message, but no actual fix)

- Ensuring Windows 11 is fully up to date

- Updating my graphics drivers (and rolling them back after no improvement)

- Verifying that there are no mods, third-party tools, or altered files on my system

For clarity, I only play Cyberpunk 2077 and NFS Heat, both completely unmodded. There is nothing on my system that should interfere with Easy Anti-Cheat. Additionally, my laptop is a high-end system, and none of my friends are experiencing this issue on their PCs, which makes this problem even more confusing and frustrating.

What is most disappointing is that this issue persists indefinitely, no matter how many times the game is repaired or reinstalled. As someone who genuinely enjoys Apex Legends—and who previously played Apex Legends Mobile for over a year—this experience is seriously damaging my first impression of the PC version of the game.

At this point, I am looking for a permanent and reliable fix, not a temporary workaround. I truly want to continue playing Apex Legends on PC, but the ongoing anti-cheat failures are making that impossible.

I would greatly appreciate detailed guidance or an official resolution to this issue.
