Just to be 100% sure. That 2 frame time spike pattern ingame shows as 1 big spike in the MSI Hardware monitor graph?Just as a sanity check for me.The pattern looks similar and is probably the same thing I get.You say you get that in the firing range? I get it randomly once/twice a game (And I mean randomly) showing as the same pattern every time.
@wiseolddudeWhat a relief to see that I'm not the only person having this issue. Just tried every possible thing from reinstalling windows to tweaking almost any single setting in- and out of the game. I get the exact same frametime spikes every now and then. Playing on 2070 super, 32GB Ram, 9900K on 1080p. I thought I was going crazy until I found this post. Still sad to see this mess still persists in 2022 ☹️
Edit: Tried switching from Steam to EA Launcher - no luck there. BUT uninstalling GeForce Experience helped. F*cking finally, thanks alot for the tip!

I think Apex just doesn't like the 9900k.
In game stuttering has been more or less prevalent depending on the patch. Loba heirloom patch was terrible and many people started getting it. But with the "fix" in S15, I'm still getting it.
Running a similar setup at 9900k, 32GB 4000mhz ram, EVGA 3080 12gb version, 2 different windows installs (SSD and NVMe), going through all the tweaks in the troubleshooting guide. Still get this crazy stutter.
I noticed that a lot of the people that have had the issue consistently are on a 9900k and I'm wondering if there's something particular to this cpu that apex doesn't like.

Just wanted to add onto this started having stuttering issues for almost two months. I uninstalled Geforce Experience, restarted my PC and booted up a match of Apex and it was butter smooth. So happy to enjoy a session of Apex again! Now I cant blame the frame timing spikes anymore xD
Thanks again!
