Apex account wiped to level 1 no skins

Been playing apex on steam for several years, hundreds of dollars put into the game. MANY RECEIPTS IN MY EMAIL AS PROOF READY TO PROVIDE. Stopped playing for a while, and now when I try playing again...

Hey piercedlabes,

When you're seeing a complete loss of content like this, it's typically due to unlinking a platform and/or linking one to a different EA account.

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link that platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.

It looks like that's what's happened here as well. The EA account you're on has not been around for several years, so if you've been playing for years that would have been on a different EA account. If you primarily play on Steam, that likely means the same Steam account you used in the past has now been linked to this newer EA account. To try recovering your progress, you would need to link this Steam back to the original EA account instead.

We are not able to make any changes to your account status or progress via the forums, but if something was linked or unlinked incorrectly it may be worth contacting support to see if the original platform can be re-linked.

Hi, Mako. Thanks for the reply. I understand what youre saying, however in my years of owning EA accounts and Steam accounts, I never unlinked or changed the accounts that my steam was linked to. With that being said, I have 2 mail email addresses, both with an EA account under them. When I first logged into Apex Legends and saw that all of my progress was wiped, I checked which EA account was linked, restarted the game several times to see if anything would change, and when nothing did, I unlinked and linked to my other EA account to see if that was the problem, but it wasnt! Now I am stuck on this other EA account for the next several months, am unable to go back to the original one, and nothing was solved.
