Apex crashes in lobby when Ranked/Storm Point is selected - AMD GPUs

Hey everyone,

The team is aware of this issue and has been investigating, thank you for the additional reports and details.

While this likely will not solve things for everyone running into the problem, a couple players have had some success double-checking these steps to make sure there aren't other factors contributing to the issue as well. 

Those may be worth a look while we're working on things from this end, if you haven't already given that a try. We'll provide more updates as we have them, thanks for hanging in there in the meantime.

⚠️UPDATE April 1:

There are some new steps, we recommend trying. For anyone who is still running into this error and the above steps haven't resolved the issue, please try the following steps:

• Add the following to your PC launch parameters:
  -rhi.dx12.SelectHigherPerfGpu
  -numPSOThreads 2
  
  
• Update your drivers to Adrenalin 21.10.2 or newer
