Problem in Fortnite is back, It was the first game I had a problem with, after updates Apex had the same problem

EAC has been update and fixed in sp2

The big problem is that "it's time to say goodbye to this game and find a team of developers who respect their users" isn't really a viable solution. Because it's an EAC update to counter DMA cheats, and this update will likely arrive on all games that are protected by EAC.

It's a side effect. In their eagerness to catch cheaters, they don't care since only a few of us are affected.

 It seems to also affect some Wi-Fi cards.

Anyway, it's no reason to say "goodbye." Something truly demotivating is the absurd balance of legends and weapons. It means you don't need skill to play. Skilled players like Aceu, who previously dominated, can now barely shine in the gameplay. This game doesn't reward your knowledge or the time you put into it. Have you seen the ridiculous Overpower changes for the next update?

I think that for me and many other people who value their comfort and sound quality in games, this means only one thing - it's time to say goodbye to this game and find a team of developers who respect their users.

Same issue ... RME HDSPe AIO pro PCIE audio card $1000 retail is the best in class pci audio card bar-none. 

The Audio card is connected via PCIe 

Going over tech support with RME Tech support they also referred me to the app being the problem since all my other apps run smoothly and capable of playing 30 audio channels in sync. It all started once there was one of these minor updates installed for the game. 

I tried everything from removing the card to another pc installed fresh everything (days) and the same issue happened when using a dedicated pcie audio card. 

ISSUE: AFTER 7-10 SECONDS OF BEING IN THE LOBBY, THE AUDIO FOR THE ENTIRE PC INCLUDING BACKGROUND APPS IMMEDIATELY GO AWAY. (Being that my audio card also provides mic input, all I hear is audio from my microphone in the speakers.) Once the app is closed, all other apps can give playback again.

Please do not remove support for hi end audio cards for this competitive BR game...
