Audio Issues Apex Legends

I've tried everything listed in this thread so far and nothing works for me.

Having the same issue. Really noticeable right during the drop-in at the start of the match, but even after that it "seems" to even out and go back to normal, then I run into a squad and don't even * notice I'm getting shot at BECAUSE THERE'S NO * GUNSHOT SOUNDS. Like legitimately, the entire * match will go smoothly right until we're the last * squad. This is beyond stupid.

Hi I had the same problem and I fixed it

I m using a pair of Logitech g430 surround headphones and I drive them using the included USB adapter . Once I stopped using the USB thing the problem disappeared.

It looks like apex doesn't play well with virtual 7.1 headphones.

Nevermind. The problem came back and it's more common than ever. This is downright infuriating to deal with and makes the game absolutely unplayable. I cannot hear jack *, and the little sound bits that do squeeze out of this abomination of game audio are either delayed by minutes or smeared into a creepy, distorted mess. I was expecting more out of this balance update, like a bug fix to this oddly specific issue. I'm disappointed. It's annoying when I'm at a huge disadvantage in a game where I previously found a lot of fun to play with friends.

I'm also using USB headphones that have a virtual 7.1 surround system. I've tried turning on and off the surround sound setting to no avail. These are also my only pair of headsets, meaning I don't have a replacement for both my headphone and microphone counterparts.

From what I've gathered, USB headsets seem to converge at this issue. Can the developers please give us feedback of if they're investigating this?

i found a potential fix! I used origin to move the game (right click on game >> move game) and moved it to a different location (in my case, a different hard drive) and it seems to have restored the function of the audio back to normal (for now). let me know if this works for anyone else!

i have a really good headphone cosair hs50 and it happens to me i have a good cpu ryzen 7 2700x and a good gpu 1660ti all settings are set to low (to achieve maximum fps) but i still get audio delays. i am using a really good (could be better internet) optimum 300 (well its trash but immon a budget) but it still lags. also i am connected to the router via ethernet.  help us devs!
