Can't read what I am typing in game text chat.
Have this problem as of updating to new Limited time Mode.
Not sure if teammates can read what I am writing either. They do not respond.
hitting enter brings up text field, I can type with letters. However, as soon as I hit Enter to send, my text disappears.
Update - confirmed my teammates can read my text. It just doesn't appear on my screen.

Update 2 - I appear to be muted for some reason. Screenshot attached. Not sure how to unmute
- @NICECOCtane same! I rarely type anything other than GG but it's still annoying to see nothing after I type it out.

On origin I had similiar issues all the time... an example is muting your randoms but it would never actually mute them but as soon as I reset origin’s cache everything worked like it was supposed to
Anyways I would try resetting the cache, im not sure how to do it on steam, PS5, or whatever the new Xbox is called hurry up and fix the chat on game cant say anything? are u serious? fix that bug and many others...
I also had problems this season with muting people in steam and them not actually being muted. I assume this is somehow connected.

Same to me. I'm not even able to hear my team mates. And they don't hear me. Before the update all worked well

In the main menu of apex on pc steam version
There's a red x over my mic and u cannot talk with freinds or text chat with them
Once we're in a match I can talk but still can't text chat ny ideas
