cross progression error?
hello, i recently linked my Xbox account to my steam account on apex as i was switching platforms, however, after doing this now all of the tabs on my Xbox are greyed out and my currency is at -9999. i have also lost all progress on that account including stuff i paid money for. i was made aware that this was a problem with linking accounts but i wanted to ask if this will effect my cross progression on steam. will i get the items i bought on my Xbox or not receive anything from that account? if not, i would like to request a refund on the currency and packs i bought on that account (WhyTho8249) to re buy them on my new account. my steam account is "ihatedefenseagencies ". i have seen that a lot of other people have had the same problem as me.

Progress is stored on the EA account where it was first unlocked, not on your individual platforms such as Xbox or Steam.
Unlinking a platform from the EA account will result in a loss of progress as outlined here and in the warning that must be accepted to proceed with an unlink.
Progress cannot be merged from one EA account to another, which is why you're not seeing any of the progress that was made on your Xbox.
That's still available on the original EA account, in this situation it's just no longer available in-game as you've removed the platform that was linked to it.
If you'd like to have that restored, you'll need to re-link the Xbox profile to its original EA account.
