Cross progression issue

I used to play apex a lot of PS4 and then I wanted to start playing on PC too but I did not know back then there wasn't any cross progression. So when I launched apex on my PC (presumably on the EA account linked to my PSN account) i got a new account and I understood then there was no progression so I didn't expect to get my PSN account progress. This was probably 4 years ago but a few months ago I hopped on apex on PC and saw cross progression was here and when I went through with it, the new cross progressed account was not the high level PSN account, but the low level PC account. I then opened apex on my PS4 to find my very high level account (which I also spent much money on) has been overridden by the same cross progressed account on my PC. Is there any way I can get my PSN account back? I made the account a while ago and I don't know if I ever unlinked it or not but I really want to play on my PSN account again but I don't want to mess things up further.
