i wanted to get all my stuff and heirlooms from my xbox account to my new pc steam account. Every time i try to link the two it says -Your accounts can’t be linked because your Xbox account blank already linked to your EA Account for blank. An EA Account can only be linked to one Xbox account in its lifetime. Which is weird because i haven't and it doesnt even say my xbox account is linked to begin with, is there any way i can fix this

first things first - unlinking your Xbox account from the EA account that it was previously linked to will result in the loss of all progress and inventory, as all of that is linked to the EA account. You can read up on the risks of that in this article about unlinking accounts.
If you want to play with your Xbox progress on your new Steam account, please link that Steam account to the EA account that your Xbox account is already linked to, not the other way around.
