Data Center Automatically Switching to Other Side of the World

The game is automatically connecting me to servers on the opposite side of the world.

I live in England so my data center should automatically go through the London one which I have <20ms ping for. However, upon loading the game it automatically connects me to data centers in Sydney and Tokyo, literally the furthest possible ones. If I don't realise this in the title screen and join a game I have a 300 ping. On top of this the game is made in such a way that I can't just go to the settings and switch it over back to a UK one. It's made so I have to exit the game, load it up again, then wait a minute or 2 in the title screen (why? absolutely * way of doing it) for an option to come up so I can manually switch to a data center that I should have automatically joined anyway.

This is some of the most annoying * I have had to put up with as if you forget to switch it before clicking off the title screen I have to close and open the game again.

Anyone know any fixes where I can set my data center to London permanently in the game config?

  • Same for me to. i should be on london 18 ms 0 packet loss yet it puts me on tokyo 234 ms and 20 odd packet loss,

  • Yep same for me, Singapore data centres all night, the red clock icon didn't go.

  • The game keeps setting the data center to Tokyo or Sydney, and it says for me to check my internet. Which is working perfectly fine.
I'm on Xbox One with this problem.

  • bro i also get the same situation
my servers were always hong kong (the closest server to me)
but it goes all the way to tokyo, taiwan, and singapore servers
which the ping/packet loss is insanely high
