EA account deleted and linked with Xbox

Bought the Xbox series s after years of not owning Xbox , download the apex and was excited to pay again and they message pops up to reset password as was not used for a while , was trying to reset it on my known ea account active on pc and after numerous attempts contacted the EA help to find out my account linked with Xbox is deleted and I don't have the access to a email used to create my old EA account , and here is a problem EA team on chat cannot help as they give me a link to reset password and re-active my old account but without access to email cannot do nothing and cannot play any EA game on my Xbox so I'm here alone paying for Xbox game pass with ea including and cannot play it

  • Hey @LooCoo87 If the EA account linked to the Xbox is deleted you will need to send a password reset (restore deleted accounts) to try and reactivate the account. If you no longer have access to the email I would recommend getting in touch with your email provider for assistance getting back into the email.

    Thanks!

Hi @LooCoo87 To clarify if we are unable to use the email that is on the deactivated/deleted account to reset the password our support team would be unable to assist in getting the account activated through any other option.

I spoken with Microsoft to unlink my old EA account that I can access to it and they told me they can't and you now telling me you cannot to so I'm stuck with my Xbox paying for game pass ultimate and I'm unable to play EA games included in subscription

Was trying to link the Xbox game tag with new EA account that I using on my pc and cannot do it for same reason that's deleted old EA account that I lost access to it it's blocking me in every possible way...

I'm left here with this s*** alone

  • I have same problem except I do have access to the email and I am able to reset the password and nothing. After numerous attempts to contact EA help to reactivate the account I am still left with the same pop up message when trying to play apex. EA has absolutely horrendous customer service and they have provided no help at all. I am left unable to play Apex or any EA game on my current Xbox account that I have owned since 2014. EA is an absolute joke for having no solution to this problem as it’s been ongoing for about a year now after some research. I will not be purchasing an EA games in the future or supporting this company in any way, absolutely terrible experience and service.

  • I got the same problem, and don't know any of the old data since its like 15 jears ago.

  • Bro I literally spent 900 dollars on Apex and this “reset your password” message has been on here for months and I’ve been trying to fix it all the time. And it’s not even only Apex, I also had other EA games like PvZGW2 and it won’t let me log into that either. I also have the EA subscription thing linked to my Xbox and it won’t let me even go into the EA play store area on my Xbox. Something is seriously wrong with my Xbox and EA account being linked. I started playing apex day 1 it came out and I’m not sure how I logged in, if it said “put on email to continue” I probably put some random email address cuz I didn’t think much of it, but if it was linked to my Xbox account it should still be here because I still use the same one.
