EA will steal your money

I have an EA account. I have a steam account so 2 separate accounts. I spent a little over $1000.00 dollars on the steam account for Apex Legends (I have every invoice). Battlefield 6 comes out I buy early on steam I am made to link my account. That action erased my steam Apex legends account on steam. I bring this issue up with tech support, she was awesome and tried to help but stated that the account is wiped and cant be reversed even if its unlinked. Also, I won't be refunded.

  • Bamajuggernaut Your Apex progress and data is stored on your EA Account, (which an EA Account is required from day 1 to play Apex regardless of what platform you are playing on), so it sounds like you had linked your Steam Account to a new EA Account, (which would explain the loss in your Apex progress and data).

If you did link your Steam Account to a new EA Account, you would need to link your Steam Account back to its original EA Account in order to try and revert the loss of your Apex progress and data, (however it is possible that some, (or all), of your Apex progress and data may not be recoverable).

    What are the risks?

When you unlink a platform account from your EA Account, you can link it to another EA Account, but your game progress won’t transfer over.

That means you’ll permanently lose access to:

    • game progress
    • DLC, expansions, and anything extra you have for your game
    • memberships and subscriptions
    • previous drops and other rewards
    • in-game purchases.

If you unlink your platform account and link it back to your original EA Account, you may be able to get your stuff back if you can still access the account.

    Unlinking risks for Steam players

If you link your Steam account to a different EA Account, any entitlements, like in-game rewards, points, and items, will remain on the EA Account that your Steam account was first linked to.

You can't move your games or personas to another account yourself. If you decide to merge your accounts, contact us for more help through the link in the footer.

    Unlinking risks for Apex players

If you unlink a platform account that you use to play Apex Legends, you might have issues with Battle Pass leveling, item unlocks, and other errors.

Note: Where it says, "contact us", it means, "contact EA", as I do not work for EA or for Respawn.
