"Failed to CreateGameWindow. Resolution (1280x720) unsupported?" error

Tried many different things, but doesn't work.

Did you try to set another resolution?

- Yes I did. Changed it to 1980 - 1080

I tried this:

Open up videoconfig.txt with Microsoft Notepad.

Change the following lines to a supported screen resolution. For example if your PC monitor supports 1080p, you would edit the file with the following values:

"setting.defaultres" "1920"
"setting.defaultresheight" "1080"

Does it work now?

- No. Same problem.

Have I the latest Nvidia updates and drivers?

- Yes

Have I tried to reinstall the game, and reinstall Origin?

- Yes.

SOLVED:
In addition to what I tried earlier. I also tried this.
What you need to do is find the two lines; (C:\Users\"username"\Documents\Respawn\Apex\local)
"setting.fullscreen" "1"
"setting.nowindowborder" "0"
This is telling the game to launch in fullscreen mode, all you need to do is change them to;
"setting.fullscreen" "0"
"setting.nowindowborder" "1"

You have to find the file called "videoconfig.txt"

Can be found at:
C:\Users\"Your PC name"\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local

Then right click on "videoconfig" and open with Notepad.
Change the value of "setting.fullscreen" "1" to "setting.fullscreen" "0" and "setting.nowindowborder" "0" to "setting.nowindowborder" "1".

I don't want to play the game in a window, is there any way to fix this while being able to play full screen?

Hello,

There are ways to do that.

Solution 1:
C:\Users\"Your PC name"\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local
Right click on "videoconfig.txt" and open with Notepad.
Change
"setting.fullscreen" "0" to "1"
"setting.nowindowborder" "1" to "0"

Solution 2:
Don't open Origin (make sure it is gone from your taskbar), Select Apex from the start menu and launch it from there. It goes full screen.
