Fake ban for no reason by a wave of bans

Banned for no reason on April 28 - support keeps sending copy-paste replies. On April 28, my Apex Legends account was permanently banned without any explanation. The email simply stated that I had violated the rules, but there were no details, no proof, nothing concrete. I contacted EA support three times, and each time I got the same automated response saying that I had violated the User Agreement and that the decision was final. No real answers, no investigation, no human verification. I have never cheated, never used third party tools, never shared or sold my account, and never used it to send malicious or offensive content. I've seen other players report the same thing on the EA forums - same ban date, no reason given and the same copy-paste responses. It seems like a bug or a false wave of bans and EA is ignoring everyone (lol).

    Hey qusonttarr,

I understand you'd want to try every option to have your account looked into again, however we cannot review or change account bans here on the forums.

The only way to have an account action reviewed is to submit an appeal to our Terms of Service team, which it sounds like you've already done a few times. Each appeal is reviewed by a different member of the ToS team, but they would not be able to share any specifics like which program was detected or when, as that type of information is extremely valuable to those that might wish to bypass our detection methods.

If this has been reviewed multiple times and the ToS team has declined to remove a penalty, I'm afraid that would be final and not something that can be changed through other channels.

  • I did not violate literally nothing, I was just banned without even describing the reason in the logs, and now they can not say what is wrong, because it's just a mistake that they do not want to admit :) do not be surprised that you are falling online in the game and the trust of players to you, as long as you do this to your community.

    Hey qusonttarr,

Just in case it was missed, the team did provide a reason back in case 209978516. You can pull up your previous cases here to take a look back at prior replies.

As mentioned earlier they will not provide specific program names. I understand you don't agree with the outcome, but you can see the reason for the account action in the case above.

  • the point is that I have never violated section 6, how do you figure that? no proof of my violation was provided to me by the support, I fundamentally disagree with the decision
