Heykojgtmhmmcqnhzwj can you share if prior to your ban you put some video configs or exec commands on your EA launcher? I had a similar permanent ban and was waived after appealing. I have a theropod that a certain exec commands might be giving the server-side checker a false signal.
I launch Apex Legends through Steam, not the EA App directly. However, yes — I did use some launch options / config commands.
These are the commands I added:
-dev +fps_max 300 +cl_showpos 1 +miles_channels 2 -high
I’ve been using this exact same set of commands since my old PC, for a very long time, without any issues. That’s why I’m pretty confident these shouldn’t trigger a ban. They’re all pretty standard performance/developer commands.
But who knows… with EA’s system lately, maybe they suddenly decided to flag something that’s been working fine for years. I’ve heard stories of weird false positives with launch options before.

Yeah these are not the commands I had when I got banned, I had the following:
+fps_max 244 -forcenovsync -dev -high -novid
-fullscreen -preload -no_render_on_input_thread
+r_drawparticles 0 +mat_compressedtextures 1
+cl_ragdoll_collide 0 +mat_disable_fancy_blending 1
+lobby_max_fps 0
