Game Crashes when connecting to the lobby

Have tried it on Steam and the EA app

Have my partner, an IT proffesional, look at it 

He ran some stuff; it did not fix it
Tried the AI help bot
Now here

I try to get into the lobby of the game, and it crashes.
Never had this problem before; took a few months' break and now this
Does not do this with any other game I play

 Crashes my GPU
FPS is capped
