Game crashing upon entering the void

Have you had a chance to do any particular troubleshooting steps since this started happening? 

Repairing the game through EA app or Verifying Integrity of the game via Steam is usually a solid place to start if you haven't done so recently. It may also be worth temporarily disabling other background programs or processes to make sure this isn't being caused by something running in the background or a conflicting overlay.

This type of thing does sound like it could be driver related as well, so I'd definitely check to be sure you've updated your GPU drivers and don't have any Windows Updates available as well. If none of these steps change things for you, please grab a Dxdiag and that may give us a bit more information as to what could be contributing to this happening, thanks!
