I was playing ranked apex with no issues yesterday, and today, I tried to boot up some ranked, and my game keeps crashing when i click on the tab for ranked. I tried verifying the integrity of my game files, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I restarted my PC, and I updated my drivers to the newest update. I attached my dxdiag file as well. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks.
I cannot load in to a game when Storm Point is the map. I can load in to any other map fine. I don't even have to hit ready for it to crash. I select the mode and if it's storm point a few seconds after I confirm the mode choice and it goes back to the main screen where I can Ready up to continue it crashes to the desktop with no error. Currently it's happening on ranked and Bot Royale. Those are the two current storm point maps as of 3/25. I've tried repairing the game and clearing the shaders but neither has worked.
This is happening for me as well. Do you have an AMD GPU by any chance? Another post with a bunch of replies to it are all having the same problem and all have AMD hardware so maybe thats it? I guess we just have to wait until EA fixes it...

Are you seeing any particular error message when Apex crashes, or is the game just dumping you back to desktop without anything popping up?
Based on the dxdiag you've attached I am seeing multiple other services appear to have failed, with a handful of Windows Update errors that may be contributing to other issues. Since you've already tried reinstalling/repairing the game itself without any change, it may be helpful to try repairing/replacing some of the missing system files.
The link below takes you to Microsoft's official support page with steps to walk through that process. I'd try giving that a shot first, then make sure you don't have anything pending in Windows Update. You'll want to restart your computer one more time at this point before checking Windows Update again for anything new.

It does also look like there's a potential issue with the driver. I see you mentioned updating already, but I'd try a clean install from scratch using something like DDU. Between that and the Windows Update issues, hopefully that gets you back on track!
I have the exact same issue.
After the last update i've been having problems to start the game because it keeps crashing as soon as it loads in. By a miracle after trying and failing yesterday i got to get in a game, but today nothing is working. I've now identified that it is when ranked is selected my game just stops. No error message or anything.
I've verifyed the files integrity, deleted and downloaded the game again, deleted temp files, drivers are up to date and updated windows.
I don't know how to continue troubleshooting.
Okay im not completely sure why my apex is crashing but i've tried repairing the files and i even uninstalled and reinstalled apex and i keep happening. Today i load in play gun run without no problem, then i return to lobby and click on ranked then a few seconds later crashed. I try to load in the game a few more times and i load go back to ranked mode then crash every time, and now i can't even load into the lobby without crashing... so idk if yall have to many people trying to load or what but i can't really give the new update a really decent chance because of these crashes. please fix this.
I also have the same exact issue.
I loaded up in every single game mode (BESIDES RANKED) and it works just fine.
As soon as I click on the "Ranked" tab, it freezes and just shuts the game down. No error message.
Right there with you. Just replying to hopefully get some answers quicker. You have AMD gpu by any chance?
I'm having the same issues. Everything was fine until this new update was released.
Yes. RX580. Now the map rotation changed to storm point unranked trios and I can't get in to anything. Crashes out about 10sec after the main screen appears. I also tried to make a custom game with storm point and it fails. Something is wrong with the map.

I’m running into a frustrating issue with Apex Legends crashing. I’ve fully updated all my drivers and my PC. Simultaneously uninstalled and reinstalled the game on both Steam and the EA app, and repaired file integrity on both apps as well. I’ve made sure all background apps are closed, no GeForce Experience, no Discord overlays. After all this, the game still crashes with no error message or code. Just a hard crash. Didn't have this issue until the newest season update. Has anyone experienced this, or have suggestions on what else I can check? Thanks.
