Click to update when it prompts me, plenty of free space, it then prepares, verifies and then completes, tells me update is required again. same cycle over and over.
Was playing yesterday with no issues, only since logging on tonight and doing the big update, uninstalled the game and reinstalled and still does the exact same again.
same reinstall clear cache updated driver restarted pc between uninstall and install updated all drivers ran repair bleh
How do you get steam to recognize the game in your library?
Keep in mind if you file swap you may have to exit fully out of Steam and sign back in before it realizes it needs to just validate your files.
This sucks, been like this all day. Still requiring update. Great job EA

STILL cannot launch game uninstall reinstall, ran as admin, cleared cache, etc etc.... nothing works.

@Wraithy1901 Had the same issue clear cache etc nothing worked. AMD drivers also needed update but when doing so it came up with an error about microsoft visual c++ 2019 redistributable 64 bit - error 1638. So I download it from here VC_redist.x64.exe.
Installed and rebooted then AMD software installed correctly. Apex updated also and ran.
clearing Cache now works again for me!
In game files double click on r5apex_dx12
