I was HWID banned from Apex Legends

If you search for recent incidents of wrongful bans, you'll find a growing number of players complaining about being mistakenly banned.

Since EA updated its anti-cheat detection model at the end of last year, wrongful bans have become increasingly frequent. Furthermore, it's been observed that EA's TOS department is practically at a standstill, with numerous player appeals and evidence being rejected in bulk by automated tools without human review. While many players are complaining online about their experiences, EA has offered no explanation.

Until a couple of days ago, someone on Twitter discovered that Logitech's new GPX2 mouse could trigger wrongful bans, perhaps due to pressure from Logitech. EA seems to have begun investigating the issue; an EA community manager on Reddit acknowledged problems with the anti-cheat detection, stating that they have adjusted the detection logic and are gradually tracing historical ban records.

However, I remain skeptical. I haven't seen anyone come forward claiming their wrongful bans have been lifted. And just yesterday, after they announced an update to the detection logic, even more people posted about being wrongfully banned.
