Hi, since installing the Season 5 patch I cannot launch the game, getting an unexpected launch error with the code above. I have tried repairing the files and a full reinstall. I have also tried disabling all anti virus software but the error persists. Any advice?

When you've got the chance can you try this for me?
Open up the C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat folder and look for the .sys file there. Try deleting that file, then launch Apex Legends again. Let me know if you're still running into the same error message afterward.

Looking through the DxDiag you sent, I noticed some crashes coming from a program called SDUpdate.exe. I believe this is the security software called Spybot. I'm wondering if this software or something else might still be blocking EAC and preventing it from launching.
When you have a chance could you try setting up a Clean Boot on your PC to see if that helps at all? That may help get around this if there is something else blocking EAC. For more info on how to set one up check out the EA Help website.
