I used to play Apex years ago through steam but now after linking my EA after being prompted ive lost all my progression.
The game opened up as if it is a new account.
I've spent so much money on it, what is the solution?

All of your game progress is stored on the EA account level. If you unlinked your Steam account to link it to a different EA account, all of that progress will be left behind. It should still be there, it's just on the old EA account. You should be able to get it back if you link back to or use the old account.
