Linking accounts

Can I unlink my Xbox account from my ea account and link a new Xbox account to the ea account will I lose my progress/kills and all my heirlooms If I do

    Tichenor187​ The answer is both a yes and a no, sadly.

    Yes, you can unlink your current Xbox Account, but no you cannot link a new one as your current Xbox Account has a lifetime link to your EA Account, (and unlinking your current Xbox Account can also cause it to lose access to your Apex progress and data, (even if you relink it later)).

    Hey Tichenor187​,

    Just to add on to what Midnight said, if you look at our unlinking article:

    When you link accounts, it creates a lifetime link to protect you from malicious activity and help prevent performance issues in your games.

    You can unlink your platform accounts from your EA Account if you want to link them to a different EA Account, as long as that EA Account has never had the same account type linked to it before in its lifetime.

    That means if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to it in the future.
