Linux players getting banned

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I'm facing the same problems as the rest here. It happened yesterday that i got falsely banned, too.

I never even considered cheating and I don't use any other exploits for this game.

Then I was suddenly banned with the "This player has ben banned: banned" error while tying to play BR.

As the rest here, I'm playing on Gnu/Linux via Proton + Steam.

These are my PC specs:

- Kernel: 6.4.10-zen2-1-zen

- DE: Gnome 44.3

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
- RAM: 16GB

- OS: Garuda Linux

- Proton: Experimental

- no extra launch options

I'm really devastated by this situation. I've been playing for about 350h making it one of my most played games.

I really hope I can get unbanned again, to play with my friends again.

It's absurd that there was no official communication from EAs side last time it happened, they just unbanned a bulk of ppl. Seems like we're not going to get any communication this time either.

  Don't except any type of official communication, or even get unbanned this time, since all or cases are getting rejected, and they seem to move the second post and mixed to this one (which is a really weird decision)
  Doing my best to list all your cases and got us all unbanned, but I can't promise anything, hopefully we can just play the game in the operating system that we love...
