Lost access to skins and no skins coming through

I saw that cross saving was added to Apex legends so decided to re download the game and link my pc and Xbox account. I used to play the game very early on on Xbox and was level 122. That has pulled through but my skins from my Xbox account hasn’t. Now my PC skins are still equipped on some of my legends but if I click on them it will un-equip them and lock them asking me to buy them again. Surely I don’t have to start over again with my skins considering I played both Xbox and Steam.

    Hi @ScottGS,

    The content/cosmetics would still be on the EA account where it was initially earned, correct.

    Any time you go through that process to unlink an account, it would leave the cosmetics behind on that account rather than carrying it over to the new account.

    If you have content on two separate EA accounts, there would not be a way to combine or merge that together, right.

    Hey @ScottGS,

    As you mentioned linking the two accounts, keep in mind that if you unlink a platform from your EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

    Progress is stored at the EA account level, not on your individual platforms, and cannot be transferred between EA accounts.

    This would be why you're not seeing the content/progress from one of your platforms. You would need to re-link the platform to its original EA account to try restoring progress.

    If you run into any trouble with that process, please contact support directly so they can assist further.

    @EA_Mako Frying my head a bit lol so my skins from Xbox will not transfer to pc even if it’s linked?

    @EA_Mako Think I’ve got my head wrapped around it. So basically my Xbox account was originally linked to a different EA account but then I switched it to a new one. So that therefore means I won’t get the skins because they are linked to my old EA account? And if that’s right how come my stats and level have still been merged?
