Lost All my Progress

I lost all my progress after linking my EA account to Steam. Now I can't unlink it until November, and there’s nothing they can do to help. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and is there a way to resolve it? I’ve spent money and time on my original account, so it’s frustrating that I have to wait until November to play again with all my stuff.
