Lost my apex data when i linked my account to steam

I linked my EA account with my steam account when I bought PvZ battle for neighborville, but now all my data from my apex account has been wiped and I can't seem to get it back.

  • @Ravst  To confirm Origin and EA are the same things, Origin is EA's PC platform to purchase/play PC games. However, in creating an Origin account (If you created an account through the Client or Site) or creating an EA account (through a console, or another EA site) will make the either.

So if you were playing Apex on Steam, it would have already been connected to an EA/Origin account. You would have been able to sign into Origin client using that account.

If you then purchase PvZ and tried had linked an account, I would guess either you signed out of the first account which would give the appearance of wiping your apex progress since it would be pulling a new accounts data that would not have progress, or you may have unlinked your first EA account.

I would recommend reaching out to our support with your Steam and EA account information (personas, emails) so they can take a further look into what may be linked where.

@Ravst To confirm data from PvZ BFN and Apex don't connect. To confirm when you linked your EA account and Steam account for PvZ, did you have to unlink Steam from a previous EA account? (Or was the EA account linked to a different Steam account before PvZ, for Apex?)

I can't remember what happened with the account all i can remember is that my account on origin somehow got merged with my ea account (i think) and that lost me all my data. I think the data was on an origin account.

What i think ended up happening is that i created a new EA account and somehow linked that with my origin account? My old account has kind of been replaced with my new account because it the same email and the same password, just the content is gone.
