Lost my Apex Legends account progress – wrong EA account linked

 

Hello,

I need help recovering my original Apex Legends account.

I have always played Apex Legends on the same PlayStation Network account.

A while ago, my email account was compromised. During that time, I somehow ended up with a different EA account. Now, when I launch Apex Legends on my PS5, I only get a brand new level 1 account.

I have recovered access to my email address, but when I sign in with that email, it logs me into the newer EA account instead of my original one.

My original Apex Legends EA ID was Nikolajnica.

Could someone from EA please help me find the original EA account that was linked to my PlayStation Network account and restore my progress?

    Hi nikolass2282​,

    Sorry to hear you’ve lost access to your original Apex Legends progress.

    Apex progress is tied to the EA Account that your PlayStation account was originally connected to, and it can’t be transferred between different EA Accounts. Since you’re now seeing a new level 1 account, it sounds like your PlayStation account may no longer be connected to the EA Account that contains your original progress.

    Please avoid unlinking or relinking the PlayStation account again for now, as further account changes can make progress recovery more complicated.

    Since you know the original EA ID, the best next step would be to contact our support team and ask for help recovering access to that original EA Account. Account recovery and linked-account changes require private ownership verification, so they can’t be handled from the forums.
