Ongoing Server and Matchmaking Issues in Asia-Pacific

I’m frustrated, and I want to know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue.

For months now, the ap-east-1 and ap-southeast-1 servers have been completely dead, at least on XBOX. Matchmaking sits there forever, usually stuck with one or two players in the queue. It’s like those servers are abandoned.

The only option I have is to play on ap-northeast-1, but the problem is that I get over 100ms ping there. With that kind of ping, it’s almost impossible to compete. I get knocked down so easily because I’m always a step behind everyone else.

On top of that, with the bad ping, I almost have:
- Missing teammates
- Brand new players as teammates who don’t know what they’re doing
- Bots, which are worse because not only do they not help, but they also feed free points to the enemy team

It’s been like this for a long time now, and nothing seems to improve. I love Apex, but this is becoming super discouraging.

Devs, please look into the AP server population for XBOX and consider improving matchmaking for high-ping players.
