@EA_IlliumStill no response to the near 100% packet loss on your servers. It's very frustrating. Here is what I know:
- NONE of your troubleshooting has worked
- I have EXCELLENT internet
- This is the ONLY game I lag on
- I consistently get close to 100% packet loss on your servers
- My ISP did everything from bring out a technician to replacing our modem and still no fix
- EA has done jack *
The fact that you didn't even respond to that makes me think that it is in fact the issue! Wow...
@McChodeGuy I was able to confirm with my team that our servers are up and running, have you gone to 100% packet loss on the default network or one of the others you had tested? Again based on the pathing you last provided it showed packet loss on your first two hopes to our servers, did testing at the other networks change this result or would you be able to upload the results from those tests?
I know you had mentioned you had a network that was getting 300 down but is now at 800 down is this on your network after going through all the troubleshooting steps or on one of the other networks tested? If this is still on your default network again we can share these steps but if you are still having packet loss connecting to our servers as shown in the reports you attached we would be unable to change this.

@EA_IlliumI am not able to go back to those networks to test. The purpose of me mentioning playing in different networks was simply to underline the fact that these prediction errors are observable everywhere I play; both ethernet and wifi on 3 different networks from 3 different ISPs.
The network variable speeds have to do with the fact that I cannot run a traceroute on my Xbox. I have done these tests on multiple machines on my network. While the first few hops sometimes generate packet loss on some of these machines, we they consistently show high packet loss on the ea servers (today's range is 98%-100% loss). Specifically the one on the 9th hop:
ea20.cs3.iad93.zayo.com (64.125.24.211)How can 13% packet loss lead to 100% and high ping down the path? Generally just curious.

I have to chime in here. I have exactly the same problem and everything points to the apex servers. We have gigabit internet + 35Mbs upload. Every other game we play from COD to Overwatch, or GTA, none of them have any issues except Apex. Someone needs to open a ticket to address the server performance / networking issues asap as I have been dealing with this for months , in 2 different locations both Los Angeles and Las Vegas, with 2 different xboxes on two differeent ISP's . Please take ownership of this issue and respond back as to when it will be addressed and resolved. This is incredibly frustrating.

Yup exact same situation. I've heard the same thing from many different people as well.

@EA_Illium Ok so here we go. First, I plugged my computer directly into my modem. You can find the traceroute attached below. But to save you some time, it shows 0% packet loss and <25ms until it reaches EA servers. Immediately, ping jumps above 75 ms and on this server, ae3.cs1.dfw2.us.eth.zayo.com (64.125.29.52), we can see 23% packet loss. Next, unplugged my computer and plugged my Xbox directly into the modem. And guess what? NO CHANGE! PREDICTION ERROR EVERY 20-30 SECONDS. GAME IS UNPLAYABLE. Getting real sick of these bs excuses, telling me to troubleshoot more or talk to my ISP. It is so clearly on EA's end it pains me.

@McChodeGuy Apologies if there has been confusion but the address you mentioned (below) is not the EA Server. That address is apart of the path your ISP is taking in order to router traffic, it seems like a data center.

8 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * (100% loss)This would be something we are unable to investigate on our end, It's possible the data center may not be directly controlled by your ISP but if it's one they use generally they should be able to look into this or contact whoever runs the datacenter to have it looked at.

@EA_Illium Downloaded the new season and it actually feels worse than ever. No change on my end as far as equipment or ISP. Just getting worse every season.

@EA_IlliumJust played a game where the ENTIRE time was a prediction error. I am not even kidding you when I say this. From the moment I landed to the moment I was killed 15 minutes later the prediction error was showing and I was lagging. This problem has gotten worse in every season and the fact that EA has denied it is pitiful. You're a $3billion company; just get better servers for * sake.

@EA_Illium another update if you're still around (unlikely). When selecting which server I play on, it always says around 25ping. When playing and I get into a fight, jumps up to 50+. That means it is a server issue. Please respond.

@EA_Illium Can I get an update on any fixes coming? I have done every test you have asked including getting 5 ISP technicians out here to check my internet. The problem is definitely with the servers.
PS:
After this last patch, it now takes minutes to leave a match after dead. I think EA hired monkeys instead of developers.

@EA_Illium Heres another question. According to the troubleshooting docs, I would perform the same tests if I were lagging on lets say Battlefront 2. I don't lag on that game so these tests don't even matter.

@EA_Illium It literally gets worse every single day. Meanwhile every other fps I play is great. Any update on a fix?

@EA_Illium or anyone for that matter. Could this be a hardware issue with the original xbox one not being able to keep up with the game? Either way when can we expect a fix? Its amazing how many people experience this same issue. No other game I have ever played has so many posts about lag issues. So, will there be a fix any time soon?

I guess it's cheaper to just block all blame on them out and take the PR hit then it is to get anything done 🤷🏻 but it's EA so why am I surprised. We'll need all that evidence though so that's great.
