Same issue here.....my friends are having it as well. Honestly, the silence from EA is the part I find the most frustrating.

I was finally able to play with my friend a few hours ago. I guess it's only affecting some people though have no clue why and of course EA is dead silent. Just hope it does get solved soon or at least something.
