Problem with Apex ( Can't start the game )

Hello ..

I started having a problem with apex legends today and i tried solving it but nothing that i do is really solving the problem, whenever i try to run the game these errors pop up

Error 1

https://gyazo.com/26dcc0209c3309586fafdfae5d78ec3c

Error 2

https://gyazo.com/374ae7b82d8b1f5d2780e9fa476e7bc4

I have indeed tried to uninstall and reinstall the game, running the game as admin, changing the compatibility, i couldn't repair the game for origin game launcher doesn't allow me to right click apex for some reason, therefore i cannot enter the settings ( i tried alot .. ) but it doesnt allow me .. i updated my drivers think that, that would solve my problem but it didnt ...

I tried deleting the certificate folder but then i got an engine error so i just returned it ( I made a backup folder for it .. )

Right now im re-downloading the game on another drive for i have no idea if this will fix my problem or not, but this is driving me crazy ... if you know how to solve this problem please tell me.

i have 0 idea on how to fix this problem ...☚ī¸

  • Hello again ..

I found the solution to this problem, apperenantly some files were currupted on my windows therefore i had to do a reset on windows,

it's almost harmless to do a reset on windows the only down side of it is that you lose some files from your pc ( Obviously ... )

So the best way to solve this problem is to reset windows without deleting your files < for there is no reason to do a full clean up if you're still going to use that PC/ Laptop ..

But anyways if anyone ends up facing that problem this is the best solution for it as far as i can see ..

Thank you @Zeelmaekers for your help i appreciate it 🙌

  • Hey @WholesomeGirl

Make sure you check that windows is up to date.
Best way to check this is Clean booting and opening settings.
Update & Security and check for Windows Updates.

If that didn't solve the issue.

Press your windows key, type CMD.

Then right click the command prompt icon and run as administrator.

    Now type here: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

This can could take a couple minutes to start and maybe around 30 minutes to complete.

When that is done, try to run the sfc /scannow.

When you see Verification 100% complete, type exit and reboot.

Now try to launch Apex Legends again.

Let me know if that changed anything

    Hey @WholesomeGirl

I have plenty of other troubleshooting steps.
Have you done anything yesterday that could have affected Apex?

To have a bit more information about your system it would helpful if you attach a Dxdiag file.

  • Hello @Zeelmaekers

I havent done anything, i just wanted to play apex and then all of a sudden that error popped up for me

i've attached the dxdiag.txt like you requested

if you have more steps as to how to solve this problem im all ears..
